Lovely meditation, Joe. You echo thoughts I've often had. Especially "We strive and achieve, sometimes a great deal, only to discover that the bar has been moved and once again we’re still not good enough. It’s frustrating to be good at something, but compared to “great” we end up toiling in silence." And if it's sour grapes that I say this, so be it. The music of our era was WAY better than today's. :)
