Our president recently followed in the footsteps of one of those great characters.
But first, let’s go back to 1972. The Godfather movie is a massive hit, and the lead character of Don Corleone (played by the inimitable Marlon Brando) is trying to ease his Godson’s concerns about getting a part in a Hollywood movie.
When asked by his godson, Johnny Fontane, how he’s going to do it, Don Corleone’s answer becomes legend:
